The colour Purple
PURPLE:
There is a legend about Hercules. As per the legend, one day Hercules went for fishing. He took his dog with him. The dog caught a fish called parpura. When Hercules saw the colour on the dog's mouth he was delighted with the beauty of the hue. He informed this news to all his courtiers. The people also caught the a liking for the colour. They mixed paints to match this colour. The colour later came to be known as purple after the name of the fish parpura.

INSPIRATIONAL WORDS
"This is the first lesson to learn; be determined not to curse anything outside, not to lay the blame upon anyone outside;
but be a man, stand up, lay the blame on yourself. You will find that is always true. Get hold of yourself."
-Swami Vivekananda.

INSPIRING WORDS
"Look back on yourself from the state of the amoeba to the human being; who made all that? Your own will. Can you deny that it is almighty? That which made you come up so high can make you go higher still. What you want is character, strengthening of the will."
-Swami Vivekananda

INSPIRING WORDS
"Make your nerves strong. What we want is muscles of iron and nerves of steel. We have wept long enough. No more weeping, but stand on your feet and be men."

INSPIRATIONAL THOUGHTS
"If the matter is powerful, the thought is omnipotent. Bring this thought to bear upon your life, fill yourselves with the thought of your almightiness, your majesty and glory. Would to God no superstitions had been put into your head! Would to God we had not been surrounded from our birth by all these superstitions influences and paralyzing ideas of our weakness and vileness."
-Swami Vivekananda
